CLOQ is a beautifully crafted timepiece with a twist. A fusion of art and design technology that carries its own energy and equilibrium, comprising a solid steel clock face matrix of 256 laser-cut letters and numbers that illuminates the time in words. The CLOQ wordclock is handcrafted and available in over 20 languages.
THE ARTIST
Jason Dinsdale is an award winning designer, creative director, acclaimed photographer and artist based in Buckinghamshire, England. A passion for clean design, typography and simplistic, minimal art forms, his early influencers include Kasimir Malevich for his paradoxical and illogical symmetry, and Piet Mondrian - a pioneer of abstract art, were he reached a point where his artistic vocabulary was reduced to simple geometric elements.
In the midst of Covid Lockdowns, Jase turned his weekends into a creative hobby and exerted his coding skills to take his artworks to the next level by developing and combining technology with art, to form an exquisite timepiece that is both striking and practical. The result is a minimalist steel or copper square front plate with a matrix of laser-cut typography forming the unorthodox clock face that is - CLOQ.

With the motion sensor constantly alert, CLOQ reverts to standby mode if no motion is detected

Optional use of the free weather data service to display the temperature and ambience
